Ernakulam MP sets agenda

Our Bureau

KOCHI: The newly elected Ernakulam MP, Dr Sebastian Paul, has expressed the hope that the newly formed Government at the Centre would be more benevolent towards the proposed development projects in the district.

Speaking to reporters at the Ernakulam Press Club, he said that he would make sincere efforts in implementing various projects such as Vallarpadam Container Transhipment Terminal project, LNG project etc.

However, the MP said that smooth distribution of drinking water in various parts of the district would be his first priority. Steps would also be initiated to explore the possibilities of solving traffic congestion in the city. Development of ring roads and construction of sufficient flyovers can solve the traffic problem in the city, he said.
