Singer launches `Quantum Series' of sewing machines

New Delhi , May 17

SINGER, a major player in the sewing business, today launched its progressive range of sewing machines called `Quantum Series'.

The sewing machines have been equipped with technologically advanced features and functions priced in the range of Rs 5,500 to Rs 1.5 lakh.

The company has worked out aggressive marketing strategy for the product.

Singer proposes to hold demonstrations in shopping plazas and participate in international expos, and use call centres for direct customer contact for demonstrations, complaints and feedback. The company will also be offering a `hire purchase' scheme wherein customers have to pay monthly instalments.

On the occasion of the launch of `Quantum series' Mr Pradeep Tognatta, Managing Director, Singer India Ltd, said, "With our aggressive business plans and marketing strategies, we are looking forward to a market share of 50 per cent within a year."
