Dakshina Kannada Co-op bank posts profit

MANGALORE: The Dakshina Kannada Government Officials' Co-operative Bank Ltd, Mangalore, has registered a net profit of Rs 40.54 lakh during 2003-04.

According to a press release here, the bank has declared 20 per cent dividend to its members.

During the last fiscal, NPA of the bank stood at 8.8 per cent. The total deposit of the bank during 2003-04 was 10.54 crore. It advanced Rs 8.09 crore during the period.

From June, the bank would extend loans on national savings certificates and LIC policies, the release added.
