Hyderabad , May 23

IN a bid to empowering the youth with entrepreneurial and managerial skills, Jaycees, an international youth organisation, is organising a 30-day workshop in the city beginning May 26.

The workshop, being presented in association with The Hindu Business Line, would cover topics such as effective public speaking, communication skills, human relations and goal setting, Mr Sirish Dandoo, President of Secunderabad Walkertown Jaycees, said.

In a press release here, he said the workshop would highlight the importance of time management, leadership skills, assertiveness, stress management and marketing skills.

"To make it a comprehensive training workshop, we spread it through 30 days covering a variety of issues," Mr Sirish said.

The workshop titled `Peninsular Insight', scheduled to be held at Vasavi Auditorium (new Dwaraka Hotel, Lakdikapool), will conclude on June 25.

"The ideas is to equip the youth with managerial and entrepreneurial skills so that they can get an insight and face the world with a better and more practical approach," he said.
