New Projects Hincol bitumen plant at Vizag Our Bureau
Visakhapatnam , May 25 HINDUSTAN Cola Ltd (Hincol), a joint venture of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) and Colas (France), sees great growth opportunities in the Indian market and plans to expand its operations across the country, according to Mr Alain Dupont, Chairman of Colas. Mr Dupont was speaking after the commissioning of the fifth bitumen emulsion plant of the company here. The other four plants are situated in Mumbai, New Delhi, Vadodara and Chennai. Mr Dupont said Colas was the world leader in the bitumen segment and the joint venture with the HPCL, though small was significant. Mr P. Rajendran, General Manager, Hincol, said the Visakhapatnam Port Trust had provided the land (1.5 acres) for the plant. Mr C. Ramulu, Director, Finance, HPCL, who inaugurated the plant, congratulated the technical staff for the speedy construction.
