New Delhi , May 26

ABHINAV Outsourcing, an immigration consultancy firm, has entered into strategic tie-ups with a number of Canadian Universities and colleges for facilitating the entry of Indian students into these institutions.

The colleges include Robertson College, St Mary's University, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Conestoga College, York College of Industry & Technology, Niagara College, University College of Cariboo and Balmoral Hall School, a company release said.

The company is also preparing a blueprint for establishing study centres and campuses for some of these colleges in India, which would offer vocational courses from the Canadian colleges and also address the requirements of specialised occupations both in Canada and India, the release added.

Students can opt for professional programmes that enable them to pursue careers in sectors such as healthcare, medical office administration, travel and tourism, legal administrative assistant, network engineering professional, interactive multimedia, hospitality management, international business and public relations.

The programmes also cover areas including event management, biotechnology, electronics engineering, telecommunications, human resource management, ecocardiography, aviation management, early childhood education, and journalism.

"Vocational courses are becoming popular as they equip one to pursue lucrative career options both in India and abroad, " said Mr Ajay Sharma, Chairman and Managing Director.
