Hopes from the new Government

The new Government is now in place. The Ministers under the leadership of Dr Manmohan Singh have a golden opportunity to serve the people. The coalition partners need to conduct themselves with maturity and dignity and not keep giving pinpricks to the Prime Minister.

In particular, the Left should realise that it is not at the helm of affairs and is only a coalition partner expending support from outside.
