Sapient facility in Bangalore

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: Sapient, a leading business consulting and technology services firm, on Thursday announced plans to enhance its Global Distributed Delivery (GDD) capability by expanding its Indian operations to Bangalore.

The expansion stems from the company's hybrid delivery model and addresses the increased demand for Sapient's services worldwide. The Bangalore facility, due to open in the summer, will serve as a complement to the company's existing office in New Delhi.

"We founded Sapient based on a single promise to our clients: to do whatever it takes to deliver the right business results, on time and on budget," said Mr Jerry A. Greenberg, Sapient's co-chairman and co-CEO.

"Our growth in India is an extension of that promise and a further commitment to deliver the highest business value for our clients through employing a balanced delivery model. GDD has been a critical component of our success, and has enabled us to create jobs in every market we serve."
