New Delhi , May 31

IN A move that could see an increase in flights between India and Canada, officials from the two countries are scheduled to hold air services talks here later this week.

Official sources told Business Line that the two-day talks would begin on Wednesday. The issue of Air Canada operating more flights to Mumbai is likely to be taken up at the meeting. Speaking on the airlines' future plans in India Air Canada's General Manager, Mr Ratindar Jang, had said, "We are going step-by-step. When the Delhi flight is firmly established, the next step will be to have operations to Mumbai."
