MUMBAI: Tata Indicom has announced that its domestic Internet Protocol-Virtual Private Network (IP-VPN) service has received the Cisco Powered Network designation.

The Cisco Powered Network designation is granted to a telecom service provider's service once it meets a set of prescribed standards identified by Cisco, including building its network around industry-leading technology, said a news release from the Tata group.

Tata Indicom has also migrated its domestic IP-VPN network to the multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) platform, it said.
