New Delhi , June 2

YAHOO! India has tied up with online job portal Naukri.com to re-launch Yahoo! India Careers, which seeks to leverage the strengths of the two service providers.

The Internet is slowly maturing into a platform for job seekers and recruiters to converge on. It provides an opportunity for companies to reduce recruitment costs and access relevant profile information and also improves the chances of employment seekers.

The alliance brings together leading communications and job search portals, according to a press joint release by the two companies.

"The two companies aim to reach out to the over 30 million registered Indian users of Yahoo! The tie-up will further strengthen our market leadership position," said Naukr.com Chief Executive Officer, Mr Sanjeev Bikhchandani.
