`Brain of Andhra' contest

AIRTEL has announced the launch of "Brain of Andhra" contest for its customers in Andhra Pradesh. A one-hour programme on four weekdays is set to commence on Monday on MAA TV. The program will be televised during 9.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.

The program, AirTel "Brain of Andhra", is to be hosted by TV anchor Ms Jhansi and would have one participant or more if required on each episode, who will answer 16 questions to become eligible for the coveted title - AirTel `Brain of Andhra' and seek to win Rs 5 lakh.

The quiz will consist a set of 14-16 questions in each episode and the participant would require to answer all questions correctly. Most of the questions will have multiple-choice format.

The viewers' will also have an opportunity to answer by sending SMS for the viewers' questions, which would be at the end of each round to a total number of 4 questions during an episode.

Announcing the Quiz show, Mr K. Srinivas, Chief Operating Officer of AP, Bharti Mobile Ltd, said: "AirTel believes in providing innovative and customised offerings. It is this endeavour, which has motivated us to bring the show- Brain of Andhra on MAA TV exclusively for our customers of AP."
