SCCL turnaround lauded

HYDERABAD: The turnaround story of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL), a loss-making State public sector undertaking, won appreciation at the seventh CEOs conference, held here by the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering.

The company's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr R.H. Khwaja, made a presentation at the technical session of the conference on management practices adopted for turning around the company, according to a SCCL press release.

The theme of the two-day conference was `World Class Management Practices.' It was attended by 46 CEOs of public and private sector enterprises.
