Punjab & Sind Bank net up

New Delhi , June 9

Punjab and Sind Bank (PSB) has registered net profit of Rs 8.89 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004, compared to Rs 4.43 crore in the previous fiscal. The total business was higher by 2.91 per cent to reach Rs 19,672 crore.

The net non-performing assets were down to 9.62 per cent (10.89 per cent).

In a press release issued here, the bank said that it targeted to bring down the net NPA down to 7 per cent during 2004-05. It has a capital adequacy ratio of 11.06 per cent.
