Power India expo to be held in Oct

THE sixth edition of POWER India 2004 will be held from October 25-28 at Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
Power India 2004 - International Exhibition & Conference is organised by India-Tech Foundation, a public trust and apex industry association on power generation (both conventional and renewable), transmission and distribution, energy efficiency and electricity & lighting industry sectors.
The Government of India - Ministries of Power, Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources, Ministry of Coal, Ministry of Heavy Industry have agreed to extend their support to make Power India 2004 an even bigger success, according to a release issued by India-Tech Foundation.
Mr C.P. Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, National Thermal Power Corporation of India Ltd, has been nominated to chair this Council.
"India's Power Sector - now poised for a sustainable growth" is the theme for this exposition.
Eight expert groups have been formed to examine and deliberate on the key issues under the guidance of respective Chairman & Co - Chairman to each group thermal power, hydro power, nuclear power, transmission & distribution, renewable sources & energy, energy efficiency, financial issues and fuel options.
