Air-conditioners & Refrigerators Voltas net at Rs 39 cr; to pay 30 pc Our Bureau
Mumbai , June 9 VOLTAS Ltd on Wednesday reported a net profit of Rs 39.03 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004, as against the previous corresponding Rs 25.58 crore. Net sales/income from operations for the fiscal rose to Rs 1,329.94 crore (Rs 1,230.41 crore). The company's board has recommended a dividend of 30 per cent (25 per cent) on equity shares of Rs 10 each, an official statement said. For the last quarter of FY04, the company's net profit amounted to Rs 19.31 crore (Rs 12.44 crore) on net sales/income from operations of Rs 407.40 crore (Rs 378.49 crore).
