The Park launches `Residence' floors

THE Park, Chennai has launched `Residence' floors with 38 rooms.

The hotel's General Manager, Mr V. V. Giri, told newspersons that these designer rooms, spread over the seventh and eighth floors, would offer personalised facilities to corporate travellers. The Residence, a self-contained section, is targeted at high-end executives and provides express check-in/ check-out and sophisticated boardroom facilities.

Room tariffs range from Rs 15,000 to Rs 35,000 per day for the suites on these floors. The rooms cost Rs 8,000 per day. All the Residence rooms are equipped with DVD players and masseur services are offered to the guests. Only the Spa, which will cover 11,000 sq. ft., remains to be finished, Mr Giri said.

This year occupancy at the Park in summer is averaging 64 per cent.
