HR solution: TCS gets PNB mandate

New Delhi , June 10

SOFTWARE major Tata Conultancy Services has been mandated by Punjab National Bank to implement PeopleSoft's HR and payroll solutions for the bank.

The implementation of PeopleSoft human capital management (HCM) solutions across PNB's over 4,000 branches covering 54,000 employees and 10,000 retirees is one of the largest HCM implementations in Asia for the banking sector, the bank Chairman, Mr S.S. Kohli, told reporters on Thursday.

The project, which is expected to increase the productivity of the bank employees, will go live in next three months.
