MeritTrac, WEBEL Info in pact

BANGALORE: MeritTrac, a pioneer in the competence assessment and pre-recruitment processing space, has signed a definitive agreement with WEBEL Informatics Ltd (a Government of West Bengal undertaking) to be the assessment partner for gauging the BPO Talent pool in the State.

MeritTrac will work closely with WEBEL Informatics in designing and administering a suite of BPO assessments that incorporates spoken English, listening comprehension, verbal ability, logical reasoning skills and mental application.

"The challenge for Indian BPO Industry today is to strengthen its leadership position with focus on people — both in terms of volumes and relevant skill-sets. . The partnership with WEBEL is one way of addressing this issue," said Mr Madan Padaki, Director-Business Development, MeritTrac.
