Hyderabad , June 10 ENCOURAGED by the response being received for its products, Jatti International Inc (JII), the Bangalore-based company into traffic management systems, is considering a proposal to set up its own manufacturing facility in the country. The company is currently importing over 122 products in the segment of traffic management systems from the South Korean major Shinhwa World Tech. The products include solar road studs, speed breakers, tubular cones, solar delineations, water-filled barricades, air cones, traffic batons and vests. Addressing newspersons here on Thursday, the JII Chief Executive Officer, Mr Shekar Jatti, said the company is currently importing the products from South Korea by investing significant amounts into the R&D activities being carried out by Shinhwa Word Tech. The products for India were being specially made keeping in view the rough weather conditions in the country, he said. "Through these traffic management products, the corporates get an opportunity to be part of the beautification of their respective home cities by using their signage systems. These corporates also use the signages near their facilities since it becomes easier for laymen to locate and associate them with the city they are in," Mr Jatti said. He was here to announce the installation of traffic management solutions at the Hitech City. The products for the stretch of 2.5 km were sponsored by RMZ, a real estate major belonging to Raheja group. Mr Jatti said the company's current clientele includes Infosys, HDFC Bank, Intel, Bajaj, Sony, LG Electronics, Tata Indicom, Tata Teleservices, Insilica and Broadcom. Stating that the company has recorded a turnover of around Rs 4.6 crore during last fiscal, he said the company expects to nearly triple its revenues during current fiscal. As a part of its plans to have own manufacturing facilities in the country, the company is setting up a unit for solar cat-eyes near Bangalore.
