Federal Bank revises NRI deposit rates

Kochi , June 11

FEDERAL Bank has revised its interest rates for NRI fixed deposit accounts.

Henceforth, FCNR pound sterling accounts with a three-year maturity will command an interest rate of 5.34 per cent per annum, a press release from the bank has said. US dollar accounts of the same maturity will carry an interest rate of 3.43 per cent, while the interest rate for the Euro account has been pegged at 2.97 per cent.

For a three-year fixed deposit NRI rupee account, the bank offers an interest rate of 3.5 per cent. For two-year deposits it is 2.90 per cent and for one year 2.10 per cent.
