ICF-made AC coaches for Malaysian Rlys

Chennai , June 11

THE Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, a railway production unit of Indian Railways, will supply 11 metre gauge air-conditioned coaches to Malaysian Railways. The ICF will earn $7.90 lakh (around Rs 3.50 crore) from the order.

This is the first export order for ICF since 1997-98. The ICF has exported 425 passenger coaches to different countries, including Thailand, Myanmar, Taiwan and Uganda, says a press release.
