Broadband BSNL unveils broadband expansion plan Our Bureau
Hyderabad , June 13 BHARAT Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has unveiled a three-pronged broadband expansion plan. While developing broadband network on its own in several parts and tapping content providers, BSNL will go for build-operate and-transfer and franchise routes to have a nationwide network. Addressing a press conference, Mr V. P. Sinha, Chairman and Managing Director of BSNL, said broadband services would be provided depending on the demand. Mr Sinha launched a service on the company's portal enabling CellOne customers to view and print duplicate bills. The CellOne customers in the State would now be able to pay their bills through the BSNL portal after registration. While online procurement of duplicate bills is made available across the country, e-payment is open for the customers only in Andhra Pradesh. This facility will be extended to other circles. Mr Sinha also launched Swaagatham, a call centre (phone no. 1500) to answer queries with regard to basic telephone service.
