TN Foodgrain body's resolve

Our Correspondent

MADURAI: The members of the Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association (TFMA) have resolved to do away with employing children at their establishments.

Mr V. Dhanasekaran, Secretary, TFMA, in a statement, said that to create awareness and co-operate with the efforts of the Central and State Governments and the non-government organisations to abolish child labour, the members of the association, on the occasion of `Anti-Child Labour Day' on June 12, had decided to dispense with the practice at their establishments.
