Hyderabad , June 14

Airtel has announced money-back guarantee offer in case of call drop or poor network experience for its subscribers. This initiative is being seen as a new service standard as it is available for both prepaid and post-paid customers in Andhra Pradesh.

As a part of this offer, all post-paid customers experiencing a call drop during a conversation will not be charged for that call. As a part of enhanced delivery, pre-paid customers too would get the benefit of a refund of Rs 50, if they choose to surrender their SIM card within five days of purchase to any of the designated AirTel retail outlets in the State. This offer is valid till August 31, 2004.

The Chief Operating Officer of Bharti Mobile Ltd, Andhra Pradesh, Mr K. Srinivas, in a statement said the recent TRAI-IMRB report rating the AirTel AP to be amongst the best cellular network in the country has been a source of encouragement. As part of the ongoing effort, this service will be extended to both prepaid and post-paid users.
