Chaitanya Bharathi plans tie-ups

HYDERABAD: Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBES), which tied up with Dudley College of Engineering, Wolverhampton University (UK), is planning to explore more such pacts with universities in the UK and US.

Announcing this at a press conference here on Saturday, Dr B.N. Reddy, Chairman of Chaitanya Bharati Educational Society, said senior representatives from the society would visit the UK soon in this regard.

CBIT set up ic-CBIT (International Center, CBIT) following the MoU with the UK university. As part of the agreement, the institute was sending the first batch of 18 students to the Dudley College to complete their degree. "There are going to study there for one year to complete the three-year degree in electronics and communication engineering," he said. Incidentally, the institute is planning to celebrate its silver jubilee fete later this year. "We are going invite the President, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam," he said.
