People Electrolux CEO on two-day visit to India Our Bureau
New Delhi , June 15 ELECTROLUX Group's President and CEO, Mr Hans Straberg, will be on a two-day visit to India on June 22. This will be his first visit to India after he took over as CEO in 2002. According to a company release, "He is visiting India to get a view of the opportunity that the country unfolds for the home appliances sector and share his business plans for Electrolux." Besides inaugurating the company's research and development centre in India, Mr Straberg will also visit a consumer's house as part of the `consumer home visit' programme launched recently in Thailand. Under this programme, many employees of the company will visit consumers' houses to observe and understand the product usage pattern. "Insight gathered by employees help Electrolux to understand the needs and problems of consumers early in the process and helps improve the product development process," the company release said.
