Outlook Dax Networks eyes Rs 100-crore revenue through 'core' strategy Our Bureau
Mr Sujit Singh
Chennai , June 15 DAX Networks Ltd, a networking company, hopes to increase its earnings to Rs 100 crore in the next three years. The company's revenue in 2003-04 was Rs 62 crore, and it hopes to make Rs 70 crore during the current year. In 2005-06, the company expects to report revenues of Rs 85 crore, the Country Manager, Mr Sujit Singh, told presspersons here today. The company outsources its products from contract manufacturers in China, Israel and Taiwan, and markets them in India under the brand name Dax. During 2004-05, a large portion of its revenue will be from its "towards the core strategy" that was launched today. The strategy is to penetrate core networking in a company. While Dax will continue to provide solutions in all networking technologies, there will be increased focus on mature and high value networking technologies such as switching, cabling and routing, he said. These account for over 45 per cent of the country's Rs 3,000 crore networking markets, he said.
