NetScaler to double headcount

Hyderabad , June 16

NETSCALER India, part of the Santa Clara-based application networking systems and solutions company, is set to expand India operations by building upon networking products that it has developed locally and by doubling its headcount at the R&D centre based out of Bangalore.

The General Manager, Asia Operations, NetScaler, Mr Rakesh Singh, told Business Line that some of the big names like Google, Microsoft and Indian portal like Rediff used NetScaler networking product. About 60-70 per cent of the product has been developed at the R&D centre in India.

"Basically, we are in the business of helping corporations regulate traffic by optimising flow where most of the company products are designed around this approach of faster response over the Net. We have a 60-member development team in India and expect to double this number by next year ," he said.

With the NetScaler technology, both corporations and individuals are in a position to harness the potential of instant communications and fast access to applications and content and to conduct commerce securely from anywhere at anytime and from any device.

"We have been innovating constantly to address business requirements with networking technologies such as Request Switching, Surge Protection, Sure Connect and Dynamic Caching," he said.
