New Products & Services Omega unveils Speedmaster range of watches Our Bureau
New Delhi , June 17 COMMEMORATING the 35th anniversary of man's first step on the moon, Omega announced the launch of `Speedmaster Professional Apollo 11 Insignia'. This special range is produced in a strictly limited series of 3,500 individually numbered Speedmasters and provides consumer the opportunity to possess a classic timepiece, the company said in a statement here. Mr G. Kannan, Country Manager, Swatch Group (I) Pvt Ltd, said, "As mankind today explores even more distant horizons, the popular Speedmaster series will serve as a reminder of Omega's long-standing association with space exploration — an association that the brand will continue with the quest to return to the moon and, eventually, travel onwards to Mars." Priced at Rs 1,08,000, the watch is available in all 36 outlets across the country.
