Financial Performance Acer Q1 unit sales up 200 pc Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: Acer sold 32,585 units of personal computers (PC) and held the fourth position in overall unit sales in the first quarter of 2004, according to the latest International Data Corporation (IDC) data. ``The company grew over 200 per cent in Q1 2004 compared to the previous quarter. Year-on-year, Acer has shown 70 per cent growth in Q1 2004, compared to Q1 2003,'' said an Acer release. The sales include laptops, desktops and servers. The company launched several new products in the last two quarters.
