Lok Adalat in Pudukottai

MADURAI: A total of 26 Lok adalats were organised in various parts of Pudukottai district by The Pudukottai district Legal Service Authority jointly with various nationalised banks during 2003-04 for recovery of non-performing assets.

The settlement was arrived at for a sum of Rs 2.96 crore and an amount of Rs 63 lakhs was instantly repaid towards the first instalment of dues, according to the District Collector, Mr Jatindranath Swain.
