Gulf Air to link Mumbai, London

Mumbai , June 18

GULF Air will offer new service from Mumbai to London Heathrow with a brief stopover in Muscat, Oman from June 21.

These flights will depart Mumbai international airport daily in the afternoon arriving London Heathrow that evening. For the return leg, the flight leaves London in the evening arriving in Mumbai for the start of the next working day, a company release stated.

Mr John Anderson, Gulf Air's General Manager - India pointed that this service was introduced in response to strong bookings during the summer period, which people were eagerly awaiting for.

London in particular, has always been a popular destination among Indians, and with India becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination for Europeans, this service gives travellers more convenience and better options, which benefits both countries, he added. Gulf Air has also introduced a host of in-flight services, which include on-board chef service in the First Class cabin, the equivalent of a first class menu of business class passengers, the release stated.

The airlines' has a luxury car transfer service for first and business class passengers flying from Muscat to any Gulf Air destination.
