Granite & Marble Pokarna net at Rs 15.17 cr Our Bureau
Hyderabad , June 21 POKARNA Ltd, engaged in the production of granite slabs and apparels, has posted a turnover of Rs 111.02 crore and a net profit of Rs 15.17 crore during 2003-04. The company's board has recommended a dividend of 20 per cent for the year. The company had already paid an interim dividend of 15 per cent last fiscal. Its earnings per share for the year stood at Rs 24.47. Pokarna's Chairman, Mr Gautam Chand Jain, stated in a press release here on Monday that the company's board had approved an investment of Rs 4.5 crore for expansion at the granite division, which would result in an additional turnover of Rs 20 crore per year. The company's garment factory had gone into commercial production in March 2004.
