Exabyte, Yosemite tie up

BANGALORE: Exabyte Corporation, a performance and value leader in tape back-up, restore and archival systems, has entered into an OEM partnership with Yosemite Technologies, a developer of multi-platform backup and recovery software solutions.

The products of the two companies will be bundled to provide small and medium and enterprises (SMEs) a one-source automated storage solution.

Under the agreement, Yosemite's base-level backup software solution, TapeWare XE, will be bundled with Exabyte's VXA-2 PacketLoader Tape Libraries.
