Plea for Tuticorin-Coimbatore train

MADURAI: The All-India Chamber of Commerce and Industries (AICCI), Tuticorin, has made an appeal for the introduction of a night express train service between Tuticorin and Coimbatore.

Mr P.S.S.K. Raja Sankaralingam, General Secretary, in a memorandum submitted to the Union Minister of State for Railways, Mr R. Velu, has said that the termination of the service has inconvenienced the travelling public and the trading community.
