AP cabinet enlarged for TRS entry

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, expanded his Cabinet strength to 30 on Wednesday by inducting six ministers from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

TRS, whose aim is to create a separate Telangana State, was the electoral ally of the Congress in the recently held polls. TRS has 26 members in the Assembly.

The new Ministers with their portfolios in brackets: Dr A Chandrasekhar (Minor Irrigation), Mr T Harish Rao (Youth Services, Printing and Stationery), Capt V Lakshmikanth Rao (BC Welfare), Mr Nayini Narasimha Reddy (Technical Education and Industrial Training Institutes), Mr Santhosh Reddy S (Transport) and G Vijayarama Rao (Food, Civil Supplies, Legal Metrology and Consumer Affairs).
