Interior-exterior expo in Chennai

THE latest edition of the Zaks Interior Exterior Expo has attracted exhibitors from Pakistan, Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia and Sri Lanka and from all over India.

Mr Syed Zakir Ahmed, Managing Director, Zak Trade Fairs & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, said that over 100 companies are participating in the exhibition. The trend today is for space saving and light furniture. There is a lot of demand for antique and modular furniture, he said. The exhibition is open at the Chennai Trade Centre up to June 27.

On show at the expo are executive chairs, office, readymade kitchens, bedroom, living and dining room furniture. Also on show are modular and plywood partition and a range of false ceiling.

Mr Ahmed said that people are also interested in decorating their houses with paintings and curios.
