Marlabs to set up centre for BHI

BANGALORE: Marlabs India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marlabs Inc, is setting up a captive centre for Builders Homesite Inc (BHI), a leading marketing and technology solutions provider for the home building industry founded by a consortium of 32 large builders in the US. The captive centre would be housed at the Marlabs Global Delivery Centre in Bangalore.

Mr Krishna Murthy, Chief Technology Officer, BHI, US, who was here to establish the captive centre, said: "Captive offshoring poses lesser risks to the business organisation than any other forms like third party outsourcing since dedicated management from the parent company directly oversees the offshore operations. The captive centre would allow BHI gain cost advantage by reducing operating costs through flexible, need-based staffing and work conditions."

Marlabs India is a business technology solution provider and provides application development, managed services and consulting services under one roof with specific focus on the healthcare, financial services and media industry verticals.

Marlabs was recently recognised by Deloitte & Touche as a Fast 50 organisation for the third consecutive year.
