Prizes for Kerala NSC investors

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Finance Minister, Mr K. Sankaranarayanan, gave away lucky prizes to winners investors of the National Savings Certificates (NSCs) scheme.

Ms T. K. Meenakshi of Palakkad district won the bumper prize of a Lancer car, while Mr Josy Jose (Idukki) won return flight tickets for two in the Thiruvananthapuram-Singapore-Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur-Thiruvananthapuram route.

The first prize, a Ford Ikon car, for the previous year went to Mr V. Vijayakumar (Palakkad) while the second prize, two Maruti 800 cars, went to Ms Sadhana T. Mathew (Ernakulam) and Mr P. K. Vaidyanathan (Kannur).

The third prize, Enfield Bullet motorcycles, were won by Mr M. N. Mony (Ernakulam), Mr P. R. Lonappan (Thrissur) and Ms S. Santhi (Kollam), while the fourth prize, Honda Activa scooters, went to Ms Mariamma Abraham (Pathanamthitta), Mr C. Unnikrishnan (Palakkad), Mr Suseel Sreekumar (Kannur) and Mr P. R. Ramachandran (Kannur).
