Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Circle of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) will provide four lakh telephone connections by March next year, said Mr K. Sreekantan Nair, Chief General Manager, BSNL-Kerala Circle. This will clear the entire landline waiting list in the State, he added.

Addressing a customers' meet organised by BSNL in the city on June 25, he said the National Internet Backbone network would be augmented in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi in about three months. Drop boxes will be installed at selected BSNL customer care centres to facilitate payment of CellOne mobile bills through cheques, said Mr K.V. Balasubramaniam, General Manager-Mobile Services, BSNL-Kerala Circle.
