MANGALORE: The General Manager of Canara Bank, Mr R.K. Madhukar, has urged the branch managers to work hard for channelising more credit to agriculture sector.

A bank release here on Tuesday said that he was participating in the business plan conference of branch managers of Shimoga district in Shimoga recently.

The Deputy General Manager, Mr Damodar Shenoy, urged the managers to look for strengthening the recovery measures. They should also look for quality advances for the effective and profitable deployment of surplus funds with the bank, he added.
