KOCHI: Hero Honda Motors Ltd in association with TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) has conducted a workshop here to introduce its annual national event, Green Olympiad and TERRAQUIZ.

The workshop was held at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara near here, and was attended by over 100 school children and 70 to 80 schoolteachers from 28 schools across the city. Dr Babu Sebastian, Director, SIET (State Institute of Educational Technology), was the chief guest.

Mr H.S. Madhusudan, Area Manager, Hero Honda Motors (Kochi), said the Green Olympiad and Terraquiz is just a part of the company's efforts towards educating and sensitising young minds about the need for a healthier and cleaner environment. Caring for the environment is one of the fundamentals of Hero Honda's business, he added.
