New Intel products

INTEL has announced the launch of a Xeon processor-based platform and a number of products and technologies for the Xeon family that offer better performance, memory and graphics capabilities for workstation platforms.

Announcing this on Tuesday, Mr Shrikant Patil, Director-Solutions, Intel Technology India, said the workstations would benefit from the technologies that address the increasingly data-hungry systems and software applications that need performance.

The Intel processor-based workstation platform, which features an advanced Intel Xeon processor with more powerful chipset, boosts performance by up to 30 per cent over previous generations.
