Virus attack forces Infy to stop work

Bangalore , June 29

INFOSYS Technologies Ltd had to shut down its computer network in Bangalore headquarters following an unknown virus attack in the first half of Tuesday.

The shut down was for a couple of hours, company spokesperson said.

Work resumed in the afternoon after the virus was isolated, she added.

It is understood that there were no "material delays" following this virus outbreak, company sources said.
