Performance Indian Hume Pipe net zooms Our Bureau MUMBAI: Indian Hume Pipe Co Ltd, engaged in execution of water supply schemes and pipe-laying projects, has reported a 337 per cent increase in its net profit, which touched Rs 50.75 crore last fiscal from Rs 11.60 crore in the previous fiscal. The company's income during the year rose from Rs 133.37 crore in 2002-03 to Rs 173.38 crore last fiscal registering a 30 per cent increase. The board of directors of the company has declared a final dividend of 50 per cent. Together with the interim dividend of 200 per cent paid earlier, the total dividend for the year is 250 per cent. The company has also decided to split the nominal face value of equity share from Rs 100 per share to Rs 10 per share, subject to the shareholders approval. Following the buy-back of 96,894 equity shares by the company, the paid-up equity share capital of the company is reduced from Rs 3.87 crore to Rs 2.90 crore.
