Our Bureau

Hyderabad , June 30

FOOD Corporation of India (FCI) has offered direct allotment of maize to the National Egg Co-ordination Committee (NECC) for supply to its member poultry farmers.

The offer comes on a request from the NECC and the necessary quantities would be made available at the different State/Central warehouse godowns in Andhra Pradesh.

Farmers should inform the respective Zonal Chairman of the NECC the quantity required on or before July 10.

Along with the indent, they should remit 10 per cent of amount as advance at the issue price, which would be communicated separately, according to a press release.

The maize would be supplied to both layer and broiler farmers.
