Chennai , June 30

THE Tamil Nadu Registration Department has tied up with ICICI Bank to facilitate payment for online applications for the various certificates that the department issues.

Sources said that this system would be in place in a fortnight. The department decided to tie up with a bank to make the process of getting any certificate online from it seamless.

Once the payment is made and the sub-register's office concerned is informed, then the certificate will be despatched either by courier or can be picked up in person.

The online system has found more users in the southern districts, sources said.
