IIIT-H graduates bag job offers

Hyderabad , July 5

STUDENTS of International Institute of Information Technology-Hyderabad (IIIT-H), from undergraduate and graduate courses, secured placements, with over 221 students getting multiple offers from Indian firms and MNCs and 15 per cent preferring higher education.

Adobe, Convergys, Computer Associates, GE, IBM, Oracle, Verizon and Virtusa were among MNCs while Infosys, Wipro, Zensar, TCS were the Indian recruiters. The salary ranged between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 5.2 lakh with average salary of Rs 2.92 lakh per annum. Adobe offered the highest salary of Rs 5.2 lakh along with stock options.The class secured internship programmes with GE John F Welsh Institute, Motorola, and Microsoft which took 23 of them.
