Credit Cards & Debit Cards Marketing - Strategy Hero Honda, SBI launching card for Chennai `passport' members Our Bureau
Chennai , July 6 HERO Honda, has joined hands with SBI Card to develop a credit card specially for its Passport Programme members in the city. The Passport Programme entitles a customer to freebies such as one year's free accident insurance coverage, participation in a monthly draw and invitations to entertainment events. The Hero Honda Passport Programme members in Chennai will be able to apply for the credit card at any of the Hero Honda dealerships in the city. The passport programme members will get this card free for the first year and will not have to pay any application fee. Speaking on the occasion of the product launch , SBI Card's CEO Mr Roopam Asthana said that the cardholder would also be entitled to a waiver of petrol surcharge of 2.5 per cent for petrol purchases from IOC and IBP petrol pumps, besides a tiered interest rate going down to a minimum of 1.75 per cent per month.
